Overlord, A Christmas Story Christmas and On the line.

Now I know it has been a long time since my last review but I just saw this film and I really didn't know why I haven't watched it before.  It is a tour de force action on every level.  It starts out that a platoon is assigned to take out a tower in a French town, east of Normandy.  The platoon is blown to shreds and only but a few survive to take on the tower.

When they arrive in this town they meet a French woman that takes them in even though the town is infested with Nazi troops.  It is a fight for survival for this group of 4 or 5 soldiers to take out the tower and also stop the Nazi's from having superhuman troops that will not die.  Can this squad do it?  It is for you to watch and find out.

There is action on every turn of this film and I will recommend anyone who is a fan of World War 2 movies that includes a Resident Evil type feel.  It starts out like your typical WW2 films but then takes a turn which makes the movie a film for all SciFi fans to enjoy.

Many of you may wonder why did they need to make another Christmas Story movie when there are already 2.  Well you will just have to ask Warner Brothers.  They are the ones who greenlit this new project that now airs on HBO Max.  It revisits Ralphie, his friends, and all of the family.

Ralphie is all grown up now in 1973.  His father dies and he needs to go back home before Christmas.  Now Ralphis is a writer and is trying to get his book published.  Since his book has hit a dead end he is asked to write his father's obituary and all kinds of mayhem ensue.

The good thing about this film is that they got most of the old cast to come back and reprise their roles in this revisiting of the original Christmas Story.  It is entertaining and it will get you in the Christmas Spirit.  I would recommend this film to you and your family.

This film is another one of Mel Gibson's low budget adventures in movies.  In this film he is a disc jockey who does a midnight show on the radio and recieves an anonymous tip on one of the phone lines.  He quickly learns that he is being blackmailed.  He has the night to find the kidnappers and his family.

This is a thriller that is really interesting.  It is a lower budget movies so no major stars besides Kevin Dillon who has appeared in other low budget films Mel has been in.  It is not a film for everyone but if you go into it with a good attitude and an open mind you maybe able to enjoy this.  I would say this film is for adults there is some language in the film but over all it is entertaining.  Just go into it with an open mind.  That's all for now enjoy the films, and I will see you at the movies.
