In his Image review

Hello everyone this is Lance at the Movies blog.  I was referred this film by a friend this morning and thought I would check it out.  I thought it would be a preachy, intrusive, judgemental film like I had seen in the past.  But I was wrong it is a different kind of film then I normally review.   But it is an important film for anyone who has family or friends who are gay and wondering how to minster to them.

So many churches have passed judgement on those who maybe gay or transgender but that does not mean we need to.  These individuals are people.  It is so easy to write people off and discard them instead of love them.  It is easy to judge and hate.  But that is not what God wants us to do.  We need to love everyone who is different from us.  We need to see their point of view:  wrong or right.  Love them for who they are and not necessarily for what they do.

This film midway through I almost stopped watching it but when I heard the testimonies it changed my view.  I like the film but that midway point is more theologically based that it maybe too much for some people.  But I would say bear with it and watch to the end.

It shows the many ways we can be deceived but ultimately it is shows how many people can transform their lives with Christ.  It gets 3 Karate Chops because the middle is a little heavy to comprehend but the testimonies are amazing.

Check it out if you can.  Also it is free.
