Richard Jewell

Richard Jewell is the newest film of Clint Eastwood. This film examines the events and the trials and tribulations that Jewell was subject to by the FBI. Something that started with Richard Jewell being a hero becomes a railroading of a hero. It is interesting to hear the story told through a film makers eyes. This film is way over do. Throughout the years I had wondered why they haven’t made a film about this subject matter. This film is very well done and very entertaining. I was never bored and was amazed on the job one of the greatest actors and film makers of our lifetime did on this film. This is a great movie but it does have its downfall with family friendliness. It has language you probably would not want your children hearing, but it does help to make the subject matter more authentic. The film also seems realistic in its tone and view of trying to get an innocent man free. The actor who plays Richard Jewell: Paul Walter does an amazing

Risen

Here is my one Easter movie review. The movie Risen follows the experience of a Roman Tribune named Clavius.  Clavius is at Jesus' crucifixion.  This Romans think he knows all he needs to about this religious leader when he goes to the cross and looks at the body of Jesus.  He comes to a Roman centurion who cries "this man is innocent!"  The tribune comes the next day and the centurion does not come to his post because he is so distraught.  It is a very interesting take on the Bible in the Easter season I know that Easter was yesterday but I just thought I would give my perspective on it as a pastor and a movie reviewer. It can be very grotesque with the various bodies that are seen by the tribune and the thieves who were on the cross with Jesus.  I would advise you if you would like to watch it with your children to advise them that the bodies they see are not real so that no child maybe effected.  That is not the main point of this movie, it is about Jesus' triu

Hello everyone out there.  For those of you who don't know me my name is Lance Ware.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications.  I grew up in Lake County California,  I went to college in Northwest Oklahoma and I have also lived in Haiti for 10 years as a missionary.  I am an ordained minister and have a Master's degree in Pastoral care and ministry. Enough about me let's get to the movie. The one movie that caused the controversy for me on Facebook was Green Book from 2018.  This movie won best picture that year and was critically acclaimed.  Green Book is about an African American musician who decides to leave the comforts of New York City, and embark on a trip with an Italian driver on a tour of the American south in the 1960's.  It shows how an ignorant Italian Tony the Lip, who was prejudice and had preconceived ideas against other African Americans can forgive and forget his ignorance in accepting Dr. Donald Shirley as a friend and family member. It i
