Equalizer 2 before Equalizer 3

Hello everyone, it's Lance here again with another review.  This is not a new movie but before the new Equalizer 3 comes out I thought I would write this one.  Equalizer 2 is a great film all around.  If you don't like movies that have an immense amount of swearing and action then this is not your kind of film.

The film starts with Robert Mccall played by Denzel Washington again fighting for what is right and taking out those who do wrong to others.  He quotes in the film about how he is trying to atone for his sins of the past.  Telling one person how they need to repent or atone for their sins.  The person says I don't have any sins.  Isn't that the tone of most people?  Most people don't think they are doing anything wrong from their past, and they will just keep living the life they always have lived instead of making things right in the world and striving for the greater good.

The themes in this film are astounding.  The theme of not settling, not wanting to live a gang lifestyle, instead of striving for your dreams and your goals.  McCall mentors a young man who needs direction.  The young man named Miles Whitaker may be getting into the gang lifestyle and not wanting to go to school.  McCall takes him under his wing in order to help him.

McCall has various adventures in this film that are linked together from the beginning to the end of the film.  McCall is also a LYFT driver throughout the film.  This is a film that our youth need to see.  That there is more than just living the gang lifestyle.  Everyone has a purpose if they apply their self and don't let the environment dictate what they should do.

These are the reasons I really enjoyed this film, also other themes are close friends are the same as family.  Also, you need to watch who you trust, most people don't have the same ideals or goals as you.  Strive for what God has for you and then he will make your path straight.  Then you will know what to do.  Proverbs 3:5,6.

Enjoy your Labor day weekend and if you need some energy and directions watch Equalizer 2. Hopefully, 3 is as good as 2.
