Night at the movies with Lance

 Hello everyone it's me again.  One thing that frustrates me about Christian movies and sometimes in ministry in general, is that sometimes they put money ahead of ministry.  This film is available on prime video but the cost is steep, 9.99 to rent and 19.99 to buy.  So I spent the money to see a film I have been wanting to see for awhile.  The film is directed by a good christian film maker named Rich Christiano.  He has directed films like: Time Changer, Secrets of Johnathan Sperry, and A Matter of Faith.   The story is about a youth minister that takes over a youth group with apathy.  It does relate to teens today but it misses in execution.  The story is well written and it can have an effect on youth today but to me it just needed a little more money and they could have made a better film.  The film is a good watch for families and is very family friendly.  It deals with many issues that you see at churches and school today.   It also shows how people put others down in order

 One of the newest films from prime video is The Tomorrow War with Chris Pratt.  This film I had no expectations going into it.  The friend that referred me to this film said it was like Jurassic Park.  Man wasn't that far from the truth.  This film is amazing.  It has every kind of action sequence you want in a creature feature.  The film is about according to prime video it says: "A family man is drafted to fight in a future war where the fate of humanity relies on his ability to confront the past."   That is a very brief way of describing this story.  In the future there is a draft where you need to fight for 7 days in the future in order to save mankind.  You can check this out on prime video through amazon prime.  I would highly recommend this film.  It has everything.  It has been out since July and on the first weekend over 2.4 million households watched it.  This movie is amazing.  I don't want to give away to much just to say it is an absolute wild ride.  It
