The film Lansky is premiering in theaters this weekend. I would recommend you go see it. Lansky is about a very flawed Jew named Myre Lansky. His family was once from Russia but when the came to the US he swore to figure out the rackets around New York city and the surrounding areas to control all gambling. This film Lansky is played by Harvey Keitel. This is the performance of the year. I have never been so mesmerized by one actor then Keitel. He becomes Lansky and shows what life was like in the past. There is a author who is helping him write his biography and he meets him for lunch to start his biography. He promises to publish until Lansky has died. This begins our story. Throughout his life, he is a gangster and is very brutal is how he treats his business associates. But he also tries to keep his family in order, and tries to make the business be successful.
